There are three programme options; Extreme Earth, The Survival Games and Survival Island all of which offer different elements of bushcraft including fire building, wilderness cooking, knife skills, shelter building and much more. Ultimate Survival run their courses for British children too therefore all international students will be fully integrated with local children.

Students will be resident at Cothill with the 4-day Ultimate Survival programme being based at their venue, which is a 15-minute drive away. Each day students will be escorted to the venue, returning to Cothill for dinner and evening activities plus weekend activities and excursions. The optional Thursday evening camp out rounds off a truly memorable experience and all equipment is provided.

The fantastic Ultimate Survival team includes bushcraft and survival instructors who are qualified and experienced in leading the activities. Each staff member is trained in-house, so you can be confident that your child is in the best possible hands.

This programme can be combined with either our English & Activity or Fluent English Speaker programmes by choosing 1 or more weeks of Ultimate Survival plus 1 or more weeks of the English & Activity or Fluent English Speaker programmes. Please contact us for guidance on how to do this.

Young adventurers will pit themselves against the elements to go through a series of fun survival scenarios teaching them how to overcome extreme weather conditions whilst learning about the environment around them. Challenges throughout the week include forest fire and flood survival, protective shelter building, bridge construction and raft building!

Children will experience working together and putting teamwork into practice in an island escape scenario. Children will experience how to survive on a deserted island by constructing shelters, cooking & eating wilderness food, trying archery and working out how to escape the island!

Young survivors are grouped into ‘tribes’ and take part in engaging Survival Games and fun team-based games. From base building, obstacle challenges to fire starting, wild cooking and team games, children will enjoy a brilliant mix of bushcraft activities and team challenges!
