The camps are ideal for international children coming on holiday to the UK with their parents* and offer the opportunity for them to improve their English through integration with British children. Each day our international children leave the activity programme for a 2-hour English language
Delivered by qualified teachers working on vocabulary, conversation, pronunciation and other aspects of English, the lessons help develop each child’s skills and confidence.
*All children must be in the UK accompanied by a parent or guardian who will be responsible for delivering and collecting the child from camp every day.

Children are grouped by age
When taking part in activities, children are grouped by age to ensure they get the appropriate level of care and do activities appropriate to their age.
Children aged 4-5 years follow our Junior Activity Programme led by specially qualified staff to ensure children are well looked after and receive age-appropriate care – and of course, have lots of fun!
With an exciting mix of games, sports and art activities, every day is structured to give children the chance to do lots of different activities with new friends. The timetable is packed allowing children to burn off some of their boundless energy!
Once children reach the age of 8, additional activities such as archery and zorbs are available plus children get some choice of activities. We also get all children in this age together for our popular ‘Big Game’ sessions.
There is a healthy mix of activities every day, as well as ‘Choice’ activities which allow children to do more of what they enjoy, and a Big Game session where boys and girls mix to enjoy team activities. During ‘Choice’ sessions, all children in this age group will have the opportunity to choose from the activities on offer, regardless of gender.
English Language Programme
Our programme is designed to primarily develop speaking, listening and reading skills. This is achieved through interactive and dynamic learning, rather than the more traditional academic focus on writing and grammar.
After each class, students re-join their activity groups, where teachers make sure students are re-integrated and feeling well-supported.
Each day, students will have a 2-hour lesson, either in the morning or afternoon, with a trained and experienced EFL teacher. Students are split into different ability levels, ranging from elementary to advanced. Classes have a maximum of 12 students and are often in even smaller groups with a diversity of nationalities. Teachers are prepared to adapt every class to the needs of their students, including having different tasks to meet the range of abilities within a class.
Upon completion of the programme, students go home with a certificate, their completed workbooks and a written report summarising their improvements, strengths and any recommendations for further study.
