We operate both residential and day camps, mixing international children with local children to create deep integration. Academic Manager

Fixed-term (June’18 to end of August’18).

Join our energetic team to lead on all academic aspects of our programmes. Responsibilities include preparation & updating curriculum and resources, recruiting, training and overseeing teachers. We are looking for a team player with a range of both academic and management/operations experience who is keen for a busy summer.

Educated to degree level, you must hold a TEFLQ qualification: DELTA, DipTESOL, MA TESOL with appropriate teaching practice or a PGCE in a Modern Foreign Language combined with a TEFL qualification.

International Customer Support Advisor

Fixed-term (June’18 to end of August’18).

Varsity International is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful and growing business just outside Oxford which provides outstanding summer activity programmes for international children at over 12 locations nationwide.

Working closely with the International Sales Consultant, this role is at the start and heart of the parents’ experience, and as such we’re looking for someone who will make a great first impression whether on the phone or via email. You’ll need to be positive, and demonstrate the required energy, enthusiasm and quality synonymous with the Varsity International.

ROLES ON CAMP

We’re looking for experienced teachers and activity staff for our English Language Programme which is part of both our multi-activity day and residential camps based across the UK. We believe that the quality of our staff above all else, determines the quality of the camp and the experience that children enjoy. We mix in great activities and fantastic locations in order to ensure children have the best possible experience when on camp with us. We take the recruitment of our staff very seriously. Our selection and training programme ensures only the very best, most experienced and qualified staff are selected for our camps. Ideally, teachers and activity instructors will be available for a minimum of two weeks during the season. On our residential camp accommodation is offered.

  • Residential English Language Teachers
  • Day Camp English Language Teachers
  • Residential Activity Instructors (Sport)
  • Residential Activity Instructors (Art and Creative)
  • Residential Activity Instructors (NPLQ Lifeguard)

Applicants for teaching positions should ideally be CELTA/ Trinity TESOL qualified, but other TEFL qualifications with experience will be considered. We will also consider mixed roles if for example you hold a teaching qualification and are an experienced activity instructor.
